What Are Lush Caves?
Lush caves are a new cave biome that will be added in the upcming 2021 Minecraft 1.17 Cave and Cliffs update. The Minecraft Lush Caves contains brand new vegetations , mobs (Axolotl) and cave generation.
Minecraft Lush caves can be found by locating Azalea trees/Azalea roots
in the overworld and then following vines down into the Lush Caves.
New blocks and vegetation in Lush Caves in Minecraft 1.17:
Spore blossoms large pink flowers with particles that can be found on lush cave roofs.
Glow berries, a light and food source.
Drip leaf plants that can be used as platforms and repair themselves over time.
Moss blocks that can be made into moss carpets and can be spread with bonemeal.
Can Axolotly Can Be Found in Lush Caves?
You will also be able to find Axolotl in the new Minecraft Lush Caves in bodies of water. Axolotl come in a variety of colours (Leucitic, Yellow, Brown and Purple/Pink). Axolotl can be caught in a bucket, they can be tamed to form an Axolotl army that attack mobs such as Drowned and Guardians.
